Library 2nd Annual Book Sale & Mini Carnival August 23, 2008

girl holding books.gifThe Guam Public Library  2008 "2nd ANNUAL BOOK SALE & MINI CARNIVAL" on Saturday, August 23, 2008, WAS A SUCCESS!!

The staff worked diligently to get all the books out and people still came out to support the Library considering the light rain.

Our sincere "THANK YOU!" to South Pacific Petroleum Corporation (76/Circle K) for their donation of gas coupons for our raffle.

To the band, Digital Traks, for taking the time to come down and entertain us, "THANK YOU!", and  to Elizabeth"Malama" Flickinger for having her group "Ohana Me Ke Aloha" perform several beautiful dances for entertainment - "THANK YOU!"

To the vendors for making it possible to have booths for food, games and arts & crafts, etc., available for the public to enjoy - "THANK YOU!"

We especially want to "THANK" ALL the Guam Public Library System volunteers, staff and management for their preparation of the Book Sale & Mini Carnival - with tons of books to set up and breaking down of the event afterwards!

We hope to see everyone again next year!!!
